The colors for the space were pulled from the comforter set. The blue accent color was chosen for its calming and relaxing effect it has on a space…especially for a bedroom.
The traditional sleighbed brings an understated formality to the space. The bedside table was originally white in color which I felt would have been too stark alongside the darkwood bed. I painted it a beautiful blue color called “Beach House” by Valspar paint to add some whimsy to the space in contrast to the formality of the bed.
