During my in-between design projects, I always try sneak in a small design project in my home. My next home project is transforming my family room from an Old World design style to a transitional space. One of my favorite transitional stores to shop is Z Gallerie. It is just something about that store that puts a smile on my face and a sparkle in my eye whenever I enter their doors.
Yesterday, in Z Gallerie while showing the hubby the new sofa I am purchasing for our family room, I came across a piece of furniture that I instantly fell in love with.
This is an “ahh-mazing” console table and would fit perfectly in my foyer. I love the burnt silver metallic finish and the hand-carved wood bark base. I already have a tall and elegant vase that I would place ontop but without flowers so as not to distract from the beauty of the carvings. This would also look great as a sofa table behind my new sofa.
Needless to say my affections for the table were not deep enough for me to pay $999.99…LOL!! So I guess I have to admire it from afar.
