Every year Pantone Color Institute chooses its’ color of the year and Radiant Orchid is Pantone’s 2014 Color for the Year. I am excited because the color violet or any shades of purple reminds me of royalty and richness. I can see the reason why this color was chosen based on its’ wide range of hues from soft pastels to deep vibrant colors. Check out some of these spaces that have incorporated the violet color or some shade of purple into their décor.
